A Simple Example to Make It Clear
Suppose in Maths you got 70 correct and 20 wrong: Maths Score = (70 × 2.5) (20 × 0.83) = 175 16.6 = 158.4 marks
Suppose in GAT you got 100 correct and 25 wrong: GAT Score = (100 × 4) (25 × 1.33) = 400 33.25 = 366.75 marks
Total Estimated Score = 158.4 + 366.75 = 525.15 marks

Important: Questions that you left unattempted (skipped) carry zero marks. No positive, no negative. So unattempted questions do not hurt your score at all.
What Is a Good Score in the NDA Exam?
This question does not have one fixed answer because the cut off changes every year depending on how difficult the paper was, how many students appeared, and how many vacancies are available.
However, based on historical trends, here is a general range that can give you an idea:
As a rough general understanding, scores in the range of 350 to 400 or above out of 900 in the written exam have historically been competitive for the written stage. In some years the cut off has been lower and in some years higher.
